The extensive portfolio of VÖGELE pavers is subdivided into five product classes: the Mini, Compact, Universal, Highway, and Special Class. Small and efficient: The Mini Class encompasses VÖGELE’s small pavers, which are designed both for repair work and for the construction of cycle paths, footpaths and farm tracks, minor roads, parking lots and sports grounds. They fill trenches, pave surfaces in halls or underground parking decks and can be used in landscaping projects.

Small, compact and manœuvrable on wheels

Compact dimensions and variable pave width make the smallest VÖGELE MINI 502 wheeled paver ideal for small-scale construction projects. The MINI paver allows contractors to use a machine to complete even the smallest construction projects, such as paving narrow trenches, to a high standard quickly and efficiently.

Highlights

• Material Management: The material hopper is fed from the side by a wheel loader or a compact loader. The large material hopper holds up to 1.32 tons (1.2 tonnes) of mix. The powerful scraping conveyor made of wear-resistant steel conveys the mix to the spreading augers. The two independently controllable spreading augers ensure a uniform material feed.
• Transport: The low weight of less than 1.65 tons (1.5 tonnes) and the compact transportation dimensions enable problem-free and cost-effective transportation.
• Screed: The MINI pavers are equipped with the AB 135 V extending screed, which can be hydraulically extended from 2 ft. 7 in. (0.8 m) to 4 ft. 5 in. (1.35 m) in basic width. A maximum working width of 5 ft. 11 in. (1.8 m) can be achieved with two widening sections.
• Drive Technology: A water-cooled two-cylinder diesel engine with an output of just 14 hp (10.2 kW) is sufficient to reliably drive all hydraulic units. The economical engine can run for an entire working day on a 5 gallons (19 l) tank.
• Operating Concept: The operator has everything in view from the operator’s station directly behind the screed. This means that one person is often sufficient for operation. The functions of the switches are indicated by clear symbols in a language-neutral approach. As the symbols are identical to the operating concept, ErgoBasic the changeover is particularly easy for experienced operators of VÖGELE machines. But even inexperienced operators will soon find their way around the clearly-arranged operator’s console. Two additional screed remote controls are available for larger working widths.
• Range of Paving Applications: Thanks to the wide range of paving widths from 10 in. (0.25 m) to 5 ft. 11 in. (1.8 m), the MINI paver is suitable for a variety of paving tasks such as paving between tracks or in milled tracks. This makes it possible to lay asphalt by machine on the smallest of surfaces.
• Undercarriage: The machine is equipped with two rear drive wheels, while the two front castor wheels are oscillating. The wheeled undercarriage performs particularly well when paving tight bends.

• Water-cooled 2-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 10.2 kW ensures adequate drive power. Meets current EU Stage V exhaust emissions standards as well as EPA Tier 4

• The four wheels, two drive wheels at the rear and two steering wheels mounted on bogies at the front, give the paver a high degree of stability when paving and repositioning. The wheeled undercarriage performs particularly well when paving tight bends
• Its material hopper with a capacity of 1.2 tonnes and the hopper sides allow the machine to be fed simply and conveniently by wheel loaders or excavators
• A conveyor made of wear-resistant steel transports the material to the sensor-controlled augers, which ensure a consistent head of material in front of the screed
• From the operator’s standing position, a perfect overview is provided and the operator is able to conveniently hand the paver alone. The self-explanatory symbols and clear arrangement of the controls make MINI pavers very easy to operate
• Thanks to their compact dimensions, MINI pavers are ideal for construction projects involving the tightest of spaces, where a mechanical paving process would once have been inconceivable
• The AB 135 covers a broad range of paving applications. The minimum pave width with cut-off shoes is 25 cm, whilst maximum width with bolt-on extensions is 1.8 m. Compaction is effected by hydraulically controlled eccentric vibrators.
• The screed is heated by liquid gas, with electronic ignition for maximum safety
