Odessa, Texas, was once again the site for the Permian Basin International Oil Show on Oct. 18 to 20 at the Ector County Convention Center.
Held every even-numbered year, the show is a mainstay in the Odessa/Midland, Texas, area.
Visitors come from all over the world to see the latest in equipment and technology. Construction Equipment manufacturers and dealers were among the 744 exhibitors.
The show has survived the ups and downs of the oil industry since 1940, and now occupies an important position in the industry internationally.
Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. displayed over ten machines at the show, including a Komatsu PC360 with Vacuworx RC10 vacuum lifting attachment and a Komatsu D65WX-18 Pipeline Dozer featuring an Allied Winch and Rockland A-Blade. The heavy equipment company performed demos of the RC-10 throughout the show.
