Oklahoma City, OK, December 18, 2015: Kirby-Smith is excited to announce the hiring of Tom Montgomery as the new Vice President of Customer Care.
As Vice President of Customer Care, Montgomery will be responsible for the growth and profitability of Kirby-Smith’s Parts and Service business - balancing strategic collaboration with other executives, and the management team, to develop company goals and objectives. He is tasked to ensure that Kirby-Smith is well positioned in an evolving competitive environment by being an agent for organizational development and change
A results-oriented leader with a reputation for growing revenue and leveraging competitive advantage, Montgomery is ready for the challenges of his new position. “I believe that the true measure of a successful dealership is simple – how well do we look after our customers and how well do we look after our employees?” He is quick to reference the importance of teamwork in regards to achieving his vision of success. “Every accomplishment is created by a team effort, no more or no less,” he says.
Montgomery brings to Kirby-Smith over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, including experience in multiple Senior Executive positions for various distribution and manufacturing companies in North America and overseas. He most recently served as Director of Service Operations for Brandt Industries in Regina, Saskatchewan, the largest privately held John Deer Dealership in the world. “Tom brings a tremendous skill set to company and we would like to welcome him to the Kirby-Smith Family,” said Jeff Weller, Vice President and General Manager of Kirby-Smith’s Northern Division.
Tom holds a BA in Psychology from John Carroll University. He has been married to his wife for over 45 years, and gives her all the credit for his wonderful family. They have two children and five grandchildren.
